CABV #010 Novice Makes Videos Like a Pro

kari-doiron2Some people are naturally talented when it comes to certain skills.

They seem to effortlessly master what they’re trying to do, even if they don’t have much experience with the task at hand.

Yoga instructor Kari Doiron seems to be one of those individuals.

She’s a natural foodie and a Web Video Chefs student. She started creating videos only months ago, and after a brief e-mail exchange and looking at her videos, I had to interview her for the Cook a Better Video Podcast.

Kari is a Yoga instructor who eats plant based foods only. That’s what her videos are all about, eating and living a healthy life. Who doesn’t need that?

Though she’s just getting started, her production quality is impressive. She shoots her yoga videos with two cameras, and creates interesting and tasty healthy recipes from her kitchen.

Here’s an example:

In this podcast you’ll learn:

  • How Kari quickly learned how to produce high quality videos
  • How she figured out what equipment she needed and how much she spent
  • How she edits using multiple cameras
  • The health benefits of eating a plant based diet and more!!!!

Kari’s Equipment
Canon T3i DSLR camera ($550)
Cowboy Studio Lights ($60-$195)
Audio Technica Pro 88 Wireless Mic ($124)
Tripod ($25)
Editing Software: Adobe Premiere CC (PC Subscription)
