Mobile video production is coming of age thanks to high quality smartphone and tablet video, apps, and accessories.
You’ve probably whipped out your device of choice at one time or another to capture a family event, a unusual moment, or at a concert.
What you may not know is that there is a: right and wrong way to hold your device, you can use a mic, tripod and other accessories to produce high quality videos, and you can even edit and share your videos right from your device.
If you’re new to Web Video Chefs or the CABV podcast, and interested in learning more about mobile video production, you’re in for a treat.
I’ve been speaking, and presenting at conferences and events around the country about mobile video production and audiences are always amazed by the equipment and tools that are available.
We are huge fans of iOS devices because the apps rock, but you can also use an Android device.
If you haven’t done so yet, please download my free Mobile Storyteller’s Guide which will help you get started with mobile storytelling.
This podcast is a two parter that features one of my recent presentations at a faith based conference in California.
I really enjoyed the trip because not only did the audience love the material and I got to visit my family while I was there.
In part 1 you’ll learn:
- How journalists are using mobile technology to share news and information.
- How I created a high quality story with my iPhone only.
- Common mistakes to avoid when shooting mobile video.
- What equipment you need to get started with mobile video
- … and more!
We’ve created a ton of resources to get you started, including a course to teach you how to create high quality smartphone and tablet video.
We’ll be sharing more information about the course soon. In the meantime, enjoy this presentation and feel free to leave a comment if you’d like to learn more about mobile video production.
