If you still have any doubts that smartphone video has come of age, one of the world’s most high profile luxury car brands, Bentley filmed a spot entirely on iPhones.
This production was shot on three iPhone 4s phones and edited on iPad Airs according to AdWeek and the director:
Using iMovie we were able to complete initial cuts and review rushes. We were also amazed at the quality of the phone footage once we moved to the black and white timing. The entire production staff was shocked to see how beautiful the final shots actually looked.
If you had any doubts that smartphones, especially iOS devices can be used to tell visual stories, there is no doubt about it.
